Iced Tea
This is a healthy recipe I use for iced tea
2 rooibos (redbush) tea bags
500ml boiling water
1L pure mixed berry juice
1 lemon grass stalk
Brew the tea bags and the lemon grass stalk (use only the bottom 5cm of the stalk) for 5 minutes. Allow to cool. Add the berry juice, and serve in a large glass jug with ice cubes and fresh mint. This lasts for a few days in the fridge.
Alternatives: use grated ginger instead of lemon grass. Strain the tea before adding pure mango juice.
use fresh lemon balm (melissa) and peach juice.
