Chai Tea

500ml water
4 bags rooibos/redbush tea
5ml cinnamon
1 star anise
1 thick slice fresh ginger (peeled)
5 cloves
5 crushed cardamon pods
400ml milk
honey to taste

Boil the water in a pot. Add the tea and spices and allow to simmer. Add the milk and heat through. Remove from the heat and add honey to taste. Pour into tea cups and top with frothy milk.

Serves 4.
