Chocolate Tray Bake Biscuits
Tray bakes are so quick and easy to make. There are a variety of recipes to suit your needs and taste. This recipe has been in our family for 40 years and enjoyed.
1 cup flour
1 cup oats
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup sugar
170g butter melted
20ml cocoa
1t baking powder
Preheat the oven to 160C.
Combine the dry ingredients. Add the melted butter. Press into a greased swiss roll tin. Bake at 160C for 20 minutes. Spread over icing and cut into squares when slightly cooled.
Icing
1 cup icing sugar
2t cocoa
Boiling water
Sift the icing sugar and cocoa. Add just enough boiling water to make an icing that you can spread over the warm tray bake.
