Colonel Parker Cocktail for Dessert
Need a smooth ending to your evening that is easy to make and uses ingredients are likely to have at home, try this milkshake for grown ups.
Colonel Tom Parker was Elvis Presley's manager. This cocktail is said to contain some of Elvis' favourite things to eat: ice-cream, peanut butter and bourbon.
Serves 4
200ml good quality vanilla ice-cream (make your own using my recipe)
200ml milk
4T smooth peanut butter
1t vanilla extract
8T maple syrup
1/4t ground cinnamon
200ml bailey cream liqueur or bourbon
Blend in an electric blender until smooth. Line the bottom of your glass with melted chocolate or caramel sauce. Place some ice cubes on top and pour over your cocktail. It's easiest to drink this with a straw.
