Family Holiday Ideas with Young Children
We recently went on a wonderful family holiday to Mozambique. It was the first time we had taken our children to a hotel. This was also a holiday for me! The children had their own air conditioned adjoining room with mosquito nets. A cot was brought in especially for my younger child. Our family bungalow was right on the beach.
The staff at Bazaruto Lodge were wonderful to us. They organised special meals for my children at a time suitable to us. We went snorkeling with both our boys aged 18 months and 4 years. The older one had his own mask and swam by holding onto his father's shoulders. My younger son came in a tube with me. The waters are warm and calm and there is fantastic snorkeling off the beach at Coral Gardens - the hotel offer free transport twice a day.
Look for specials and treat yourself and your family. The facilities are comfortable, the food is buffet style with omelets, pancakes and waffles to order at breakfast and seafood barbecues for dinner.
